We are pleased to invite you to a special online event hosted in collaboration with the New Lines Institute for Strategy and Policy, featuring Ms. Elham Ahmad, Co-chair of the Foreign Ministry of the Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria. Ms. Ahmad recently represented Northeast Syria in negotiations with the new Syrian government in Damascus. The event will be moderated by Zara Farouk, New Lines Middle East analyst.

Ms. Ahmad will share insights into:

  • The ongoing political negotiations between the northeast and Damascus. 
  • Governance and civil administration in northeast Syria and Kurdish unity
